After Halloween one year I scored 3 throw pillows for only $1 each. However, I can't keep them out all year long looking how they looked. I found another random throw pillow in our house, a sequin covered one, and add it in with the other pillows and got to work on a cover.
This pattern uses only one 236 yd skein of yarn per cover!
Materials needed
- 236yd of Worsted Weight yarn, I used RED HEART Super Saver Yarn, Aran Fleck, so it is a whole skein
- (I wanted 4 covers, I used 4 skeins total).
- 5mm Crochet Hook
- Stitch Marker
- Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
Row 2: *sc in first st, dc in next* repeat to end. Ch1 and turn (34 sts)
Row 3 and beyond: repeat row 2 until rectangle reaches desired, 69 rows for me.
Now, fold your cover over the pillow so that a few inches overlap.
