Triangle Granny Shawl

  I had been wanting to make a wrap, and I am such a fan of the granny stitch, I decided to give this a go! Materials Needed: 9mm Crochet Hook OPTIONAL: 1-2  pencil grips , like  these , to make your crochet handle more comfortable Bernat Baby Blanket Big Ball Baby Lilac , 2 balls Stitch Marker Tapestry needle  (for weaving in ends) Optional:  Tassel Maker Pattern: Row 1: Ch 4, in 4th ch from hook 2dc, ch2, 3dc. Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as stitch), turn, 2dc in the first dc, ch 1, 3dc ch 2 3dc in ch2 sp, ch1, 3dc in the top of the ch3 from the previous row. Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as stitch), turn, 2dc in first dc, ch 1, 3dc in ch1 sp, ch 1, 3dc ch 2 3dc in ch2 sp, ch1, 3dc in ch1 space, ch 1 3dc in the top of the ch3 from the previous row. Row 4-25: Ch 3 (counts as stitch), turn, 2dc in the first dc, ch 1, *3dc in ch1 sp, ch1.  Repeat from * until you reach the ch2 sp, then 3dc ch 2 3dc in ch2 sp, ch1. A Baby Shower Gift Set

A good friend of mine was having a baby, so I needed to decide what to give her.  I was able to give her this really great Baby Gate and Play Yard from Amazon.  And additionally, I was able to crochet her some gifts. And this is the whole lot of crocheted items for the mommy-to-be: A baby blanket, childproof door knob covers, and a tether to keep things like pacifiers and sippy cups from falling to the ground. Blanket: For the blanket, I used Red Heart Soft Baby Steps Yarn, Baby Pink (E746.9700) . 5.5mm Crochet Hook Tapestry needle  (for weaving in ends) Ch 24 Row 1: 3dc in the 6th ch from hook, ch 1, *skip 2 ch, 3dc in next, ch 1, repeat from * until you get to the last ch, ch5 and sl into the same ch at the last cluster of 3dc.   Row 2:  Rotate your work so you are on the opposite side of your base ch. Sl to next ch2 sp.  Ch 3 (counts as stitch), 2dc in ch2 space, ch 1, *3dc in next ch2 sp, ch 1 and repeat from *until you reach the ch5 sp.  In the ch5 sp 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch
